Entity Limits & Farm Rules (FarmControl)

🐄 Animal Farms

• When 20+ animals are packed into about a 6-block radius, they stop wandering and bumping into each other. They just stand there quietly to reduce lag.

• When 25+ of the same animal are crammed into a tiny pen (4 blocks wide):

  • They stop breeding.

  • Their AI is heavily reduced so they don’t pathfind or push each other.

• Only if someone really overdoes it with 40+ of the same animal in that tiny area will the extra ones start getting killed.

🧑‍🌾 Villagers

• If 8+ villagers are close together (within 6 blocks), they stop breeding.

• If a chunk has 16+ villagers, they:

  • Stop breeding.

  • Have their pathfinding heavily reduced (less brain work per tick).

• If a chunk somehow reaches 21+ villagers, extra villagers are removed so trading halls don’t tank TPS.

👾 Monsters (hostile mobs / grinders)

• If 20+ hostile mobs (zombies, creepers, skeletons, etc.) are packed into a 6-block area (like a grinder kill chamber):

  • They lose awareness (no pathfinding / target searching).

  • Collisions between them are disabled so they don’t lag from shoving each other.

• If that area ever hits 41+ hostile mobs, extras are killed.
  Normal caves/overworld play won’t hit this; it’s mainly to keep grinders in check.

🧟 Zombies (specifically)

• If 20+ zombies are clustered within about 10 blocks:

  • Their pathfinding is disabled so giant zombie piles don’t hog CPU.

  • They still exist and can still be killed/looted; they’re just “dumbed down.”

🐟 Water Mobs (fish, squids, etc.)

• If 20+ water mobs (fish category) are within 16 blocks:

  • Their pathfinding is removed, so big swarms in rivers/oceans or farms don’t chew through performance.

• No auto-killing here – this is a soft nerf only.

🐺 Wolves

• If 12+ wolves are clustered within 8 blocks:

  • Their awareness is removed, so huge wolf armies don’t constantly think & pathfind.

• Normal players with a few pets won’t ever trigger this.

✅ Why we use this:
This system keeps the server running smooth by trimming overcrowded farms and mob grinders, while still letting everyone build normal survival farms.

Mob Spawn Limits (Server Settings)

To help maintain optimal performance and prevent mob overpopulation, the following global spawn limits are in effect:

Spawn Timing (Ticks Per Attempt)

These settings apply server-wide and are intended to balance gameplay while reducing lag caused by excessive mob spawning.

Teams System (Semi-Vanilla)

Group up with your friends, start awesome projects and expand your towns with our /teams system.

This awesome system comes with a fun way to interact with your friends in game!

Create a Team:

1. Have 25 Diamonds in your bank
2. Use /team create
3. Answer prompts in chat

Team Bank - Share diamonds with eachother

Team Enderchest - Share an enderchest with your team members

Ranks in your team with permissions (listed below)

Chest Shop Feature

Commands

• /shop - Browse a catalog of items that are currently being sold in the server (Sort by stock, player ect)
• /shop notify - Enable / Disable your personal shop notifications

Creating A Shop (Cost 2 Diamonds each)

• Hold the item you wish to sell in your main hand
• Sneak and click on the chest with that item
• Follow the on screen prompts
  

Simple Voice Chat

FriendlySMP Allows Simple Voice Chat Mod, a client sided mod is required for this to work.

Once Installed the default hotkey is v which should bring up a menu like so.

And this icon should appear when you are talking !

Bolt Chest Protection System

What is Bolt ?

Bolt is a plugin designed to allow users to lock and modify certain blocks and entities to prevent other players from opening or interacting with it. 

How does it work ?

All chests are automatically locked to the player placing them so no one else can open it. Otherwise you can manually lock other items as well as add players to your protections. 

What can be locked ?

Pretty much anything can be added to the system to be locked but the main ones are: Chests, Doors, Levers, Buttons, Redstone & Related items, Item frames, & leads

How can I give someone access to my chest ?

To give someone access to all your chests/locks you can do the command

• /bolt trust add player <username>

To give someone access to one specific lock/chest use the following command

• /bolt edit add <player>
